I have decided to go for a white/grey and red colour scheme for my masthead on my final magazine page. This is because they are both contrasting colours and stand out well against each other. I decided to use a gradient for the letters so that it has a reflective look and looks more aesthetically pleasing rather than block text. I used a drop shadow on the masthead so that it looks like it is resting on the page.
