LO1: Prelim tasks for college magazine

Before I make my magazine, here is an example of the type of magazine I will be producing.




I decided to make my prelim cover this size as we measured a magazine cover in class and these were the specifications.


Here is how I used the spot healing brush to remove the watermarks from the stock image I selected for my cover. I selected the tool then clicked over the parts that I wanted to remove, removing the watermarks.


Next I added a banner underneath so I could put the slogan of the magazine there.


Then I added a sticker so that the reader will be interested in opening the magazine.


I added the cover lines to put my text in. I chose the colours black and blue as the blue matches the kids shirt and the black stands out against the blue. 


Finally I added the text to the cover lines.


Here is my finished product.
