James is a 15 year old secondary school student who lives in Parsons Cross, Sheffield. He is studying PE, music tech, history, maths and science at GCSE this year. When he gets home from school, he runs straight upstairs to his bedroom to produce the ideas he's come up with at school. He's always thinking of new chords and drum rhythms to put in his beats. He has his own soundcloud page and YouTube channel, where he uploads his creations. Some of his beats have been featured on popular music YouTube channels. The most notable being 'Super Beats', with over 250,000 subscribers. He's been making music for over a year now and is thinking about pursuing it as a career if his beats become more popular and widely listened to. He is always looking for inspiration online and in books and magazines. He likes to keep up to date with the hip-hop news as this is the genre of music that he listens to and is most interested in.
